The 13th annual Kansas City AIDS Walk will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2001. During last year's AIDS Walk, over 1,200 teenagers and adults joined the Don's Teens Trample AIDS walk team. Everyone who walked on the team last April had a GREAT time, and we raised more than $45,000 to help those in Kansas City with HIV/AIDS. I am now in the process of forming the Second Annual Don's Teens Trample AIDS Walk team. April 21 also happens to be National Youth Community Service Day and the Youth Advisory Board of the Kauffman Foundation has provided a generous grant to help recruit area teenagers who want to get involved in the Don's Teens Trample AIDS effort. I expect this year's Don's Teens Trample AIDS walk team to be HUGE! All team members should turn in their donations for the Kansas City AIDS Walk to me no later than April 15.
